I wanted a Doberman puppy to train in agility who would also be a happy member of our family—after researching many breeders through the internet I found Family Dobes. They worked with me to find the right puppy who was both athletic and happy being with people; my Doberman puppy is all that I could ever have wanted—he is smart, fast, willing to work—but can also relax and loves being petted by old and new friends.

Bells and Dobermans
I have a bell that I hung on my front door a long time ago, and it’s just stayed there. I’ve been meaning to teach Jade to ring the bell when she has to go potty. (We had a few accidents before I caught onto her schedule) A couple of days ago, though, she started doing it on her own! I’m thinking that she’s trying to make the same noise that the door does when it opens. She’ll nudge it with her nose, then look at me. Dobermans are so smart!
