During the night shift not much truly goes on that is exciting because dogs are usually asleep, they are very cute while they sleep and sometimes they make cute but very strange noises as if they are imagining that they are running after Steve wanting to bite the sleeve (especially Texa), or they could be dreaming about food and chasing rabbits. Some of the dogs actually sleep with their eyes open one in particular is Lavina, she has such a cute personality. Her puppy’s as well are sweet and loving and of course I cannot forget playful. Most of the time while I am watching the puppy’s I constantly wonder what they are dreaming about, you see their little paws twitch and then out of no where they make a growling whine and flail wildly until they wake up, was it a bad dream, did they catch their bunny or was it the simple thought of milk. Dreams are interesting enough to want to be able to interpret what it is the dogs and puppy’s dream about, even humans can have interesting dreams. Dreams are creative and brought together by our own imagination. One of my dreams that really relates to this forum and the topic of dreams is very upsetting but is still one that I have learned from. I had this dream about one of my puppys that I bought from Steve, Grissum and I where on a road trip and I pulled over to allow him to get some water and do some doggie business all of a sudden kids are running through the open area and Grissum wanted to play and chase them, for some reason I was not able to keep a hold of his leash because within that very second he was out of my hands and out of my sight. This is where it gets weird I find him in a hooded sweater under a sink in a blue barn/ bathroom and fro some reason he was barely conscious. I ran out of there with him in my arms and hopped in the car and started to drive off to the vet but I was stopped by a swarm of cars. From seeing how my dream went I always have to wonder about their dreams and what is taking place in those dreams are they as vivid as humans, can they breathe them in and truly feel as if they are really involved in the dream as I am sure how us humans feel at times. Could they possibly remember their dreams after they wake, if so does it affect their day as it would with us? Like a child having a nightmare and the mother or father will comfort them, do the sweet dobes need that same comfort after a dream? I also have to wonder about the fact taht when a child has a nightmare the dog(and it doesnt matter what gender the dog is) is there to comfort the child by being close to them to let them know they are there, could the dog be psychic enough to be linked to our feelings, either gender is very affectionate towards most of our feelings and really how is that, I understand that they have the sense to understand our moods but really how can we be sure that it is that feeling that they are picking up on.
