So today my youngest dobe decided to turn on my outdoor water faucet! He decided to paw at it the direction that turns it on. Finally he grabs the end of the hose and starts shacking it, is he trying to tell me its time for a bath or is it all fun and games, during his process he ended up getting himself wet along with Francy!!! I couldn’t help but watch this whole process take place through my back door window. It was amazing to watch how brilliant my dog truly is!! It also goes to show you how smart Doberman’s are, they are one smart turkey!!

Favorite Dobermans
So my favorite puppy out of Lavina’s litter went to her new home last Monday, I am going to miss her but it is all part of the process when working at a kennel. It is so hard not to fall in love with the puppies especially the ones that have the hardest time in the beginning because you have to spend more time getting them to nurse and stay on for that matter. And when they do live you feel like wow I helped you grow, I helped you stay alive for that special home that is looking for you. And they soon become your favorite because you helped keep them in this world and just knowing that is something beyond words, its something that you really cannot explain! As for seeing them leave to their new home is the hardest because you constantly wonder will I ever see you again? Will our paths ever cross again? And you hope for the best for them and their new homes, and when you know that their new family loves and cherishes every moment with them it feels like all the hard work was worth it, and then you begin to relax and understand that they will be okay.
